Superintendent Cephas Arthur |
The Police Service Administration has advised the general public to disregard rumours making the rounds that the Police are embarking on a recruitment exercise. A statement from the Police Administration signed by the Director of Public Affairs Superintendent of Police, Cephas Arthur says there is no Police recruitment going on presently and that the Police Service when ready to recruit will cause announcement to be made in the media to inform the public, to enable interested persons avail themselves of the opportunity. Supretendient Cellars Arthur entreated individuals, parents and guardians to prospective candidates to avoid being lured into parting with huge sums of money ostensibly to purchase recruitment forms, as the Police may not sell forms the next time there is recruitment. He also advised the publicly to report people who would claim to be recruiting on behalf of the Police to the nearest Police Station or call Police emergency telephone numbers: MTN and Vodafone Shortcode 18555 or 191 on all Networks for assistance
