NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL ARRESTED BY THE POLICE FOR DEFRAUDING THE NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME




A 28 year old national service person have been arrested by the police for defrauding the national service scheme.  Johnson Buamah who is professional teacher engaged by the GES has been drawing allowances from the scheme and also drawing salaries from the GES. 
Per the scheme regulation those in gainful employment are to indicate that on service enrolment form for them to be posted to their mother organisation but Mr Buamah failed to do and have since been drawing allowances from the scheme and also taking salaries from the GES.

Meanwhile the Acting Executive Director of the National Service Scheme Dr MIcheal Kpessah White is warning personnel who are already employed and also drawing allowances from the scheme to be careful because they will soon be flash out. He said the scheme has acquired a new software that is able to detect those already employed and on the government payroll and when caught will be made to face the full weight of the law.
