Italian
prime minister Matteo Rezi has paid a visit to the parliament house as
part of his two day official tour in the country. In a statement read by
him on the floor of the house he acknowleged the warm welcome given to
him by the parliamentarians and the country as a whole.
He furthur
acknowleged the growth of the country's democracy stating that it the
only way to curb the issue of violence and war in this century.
He
therefore tasked Ghanians to be proud of themselves and continue with
the good works of ensurimg peace in the country. He added that the
Italian government is strongly behind the promotion of peace and
stability in Africa.
Touching
on the issue with human trafficking Mr Rezi stated that the best way
to help the young generation stay in the country is provide jobs and
also engage them in useful activities that will be of help to them and
the country as a whole. He added that when the youth of a country run
away by illegal means to other countries should be a great worry to the
country.
In conclusion
to his statements,Mr Rezi pleaged that him and his country will always
have a listening ear to the African continents.
Mr
Matteo Renzi is the first Italian Prime Minister to the country and the
very first to deliver a message on the floor of parliament.
Showing
appreciation to the message delivered, the speaker of parliament Ryt
Hon Edward Doe Adjaho promises promised that him together with the
leadership of the house will see to it that the right things are done
and also his advice are accepted with good heart.
